Internship Positions
The EFT Resource Center employs paid therapy intern and licensed therapist positions. Positions are part-time to start, with the expectation to grow and develop into a full time practice over the course of the first year.
Interns and staff at the EFTRC provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and children using the EFT and EFFT (Emotionally Focused Family Therapy) model to inform their work. In addition to the provision of psychotherapy services, other paid professional opportunities such as offering talks, writing blogs, assisting at community presentations, workshops, and training events are available.
Interns at the EFTRC are expected to video- or audio- tape with their clients’ written permission, and their work and recordings will be reviewed routinely in supervision with Drs. Blum and Irwin.
One hour of weekly individual supervision and two hours of group supervision every other week will be provided to start, and supervision hours will be increased as the intern’s caseload builds.
